Terms of Service

By using tripplanner — running a search, viewing a report, or paying the per-search fee — you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree with them, don’t use the service. If you’re using tripplanner on behalf of someone else, you’re confirming you’re allowed to accept these terms for them.

tripplanner is an AI travel-planning assistant. For each search, we do the research a meticulous traveler would do by hand across dozens of sites: we price your route against multiple independent fare-comparison sources, cross-check the results, stamp each option with a confidence verdict, and check the two things that quietly break a cheap flight — the visa or transit rules for the passport you’re travelling on, and the baggage allowance in kilograms. You get one full report per paid search, with a real purchase link for each option.

That report is research and information, not travel advice, and not a guarantee. We help you decide — we don’t decide for you.

We never book your flight and we never process the payment for it. tripplanner does not sell tickets, hold inventory, or act as a travel agent for the flight itself. When you’re ready to buy, you follow the purchase link in your report and pay the airline or travel site directly, with your own card, under their terms. The fare, the booking, the ticket, any changes, cancellations, or refunds — all of that is between you and whoever sells you the ticket.

Fares move, and low-cost-carrier inventory can be patchy. The prices and options in your report are live at the moment they were pulled — they can change, sell out, or disappear by the time you go to book. Visa and transit rules change too. Everything in a report is a snapshot, not a promise.

Re-verify before you buy.Always confirm the current price, availability, baggage terms, and any visa or transit requirement directly with the airline, travel site, or the relevant consulate before you commit. Where a value isn’t reliably known we write “n/d” rather than invent one — please treat those as gaps to check, not as zeros.

tripplanner charges a single flat fee for each search, which buys you one full report. It is not a subscription — there is no recurring charge, and running another search is a separate, one-time fee. The fee covers the research and the report only; it does not go toward the cost of any flight.

Because the fee pays for research work that’s performed as soon as you search, per-search fees are generally non-refundable once the report has been generated — except where the law says otherwise, or where a search fails on our side and no report is delivered.

Use tripplanner for your own genuine travel research. Please don’t scrape, resell, or bulk-harvest reports, try to break or overload the service, misrepresent who you are, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend access that does any of these.

tripplanner is provided “as is.” We work hard to be accurate — double-checking is the whole point — but we can’t guarantee that every price, allowance, or rule in a report is complete or current at the moment you act on it, because those things change outside our control.

To the fullest extent the law allows, tripplanner isn’t liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the service or from a booking you make with a third party — for example a fare that moved, a bag fee, a missed connection, or a denied boarding. Where we are found liable despite this, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the search in question. Nothing here limits any liability that can’t be limited by law.

We may update these terms as the service evolves. When we do, we’ll change the “last updated” date above. Continuing to use tripplanner after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction to be specified], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of that jurisdiction.
